You have 6 days to complete a science project of your choice. The project has to include:

Tuesday, 18 May - come up with your question and start your research
Wednesday, 19 May - finish your research and use the scientific pathway tool to create your plan/Get plan approved by Mrs. Smith
IF YOU HAVE NO PLAN, MRS.SMITH WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH AN ALTERNATIVE ASSIGNMENT
Thursday, 20 May - Complete project plan must be completed and approved; you should be starting your project on this day - Mrs. Smith is available to help you section out your plan into manageable chunks if you need help.
Thursday, 20 May - Monday, 31 May - Work on completing your project plan
Tuesday, 1 June - Turn in your plan
IDEAS:
- Question you want to explore
- Research regarding the topic you are exploring (with at least 3 references/sources)
- Use the scientific pathway tool to create a project plan/Plan Must Be APPROVED BY MRS. SMITH
- Follow your project plan
- Turn in your project NO LATER THAN JUNE 1st! This will be your last grade for the quarter/semester/year!!!!

- Anything you have learned about while at West Lake, that you want to know more about
- Something that you are curious about
- A question you have about the world, matter, energy, etc.
- Explore a type of science that we haven't learned about
- Find out about a scientist that you want to know more about

- Mrs. Smith also has a few genetic projects - if this is an area of interest for you
